Members take part in our Medford adult fitness classes for many reasons. Some need the camaraderie of peers to discipline and motivate themselves. Other members like the ability to focus on a certain body part or particular health need. Others just find it more fun to do adult fitness exercises with others. Back Class
Specialized back conditioning and reeducation class that helps restore one's confidence in movement, posture and the ability to have a more quality, functional life. Participants are guided through progressive
adult fitness exercises to increase their strength and flexibility.
Life Fitness
This high-energy class invigorates while it provides a full-body workout. It combines walking, strength training, cardio-conditioning and overall fitness. If you are ready for a fun, intensive workout, this class is for you.
Sit - Fit
Chair-based
senior exercise class designed for those who have trouble with balance, medical issues, or who simply like to exercise in a social setting while seated. This class is performed to "Oldies but Goodies" music bringing one back to the "Good 'ol days".
Strong Woman; Strong Bones
This class is a progressive
older adult fitness strengthening program that follows recommended health fitness guidelines set by the medical staff at Tufts University.
Tone Your Bones
Offers
adult fitness exercises for those who have been diagnosed with osteoporosis, pre-osteoporosis or those who would like to ward off the debilitating effects of this lifestyle disease. Taught by a physician, this class combines great education with safe, effective exercises in a very supportive environment.
